Cable Phone Line Can I Share A Lan Internet Connection To A Desktop Using A Phone Line Cable Only?

Can i share a lan internet connection to a desktop using a phone line cable only? - cable phone line

I have a laptop and a desktop, both with a telephone port. The laptop has a wireless card that I use for Internet access, but the desktop does not. Is it possible to share the desktop with only one phone line? If so, you can step by step, how? Thank you.

I think ....

but he had the same problem and could not find a solution, because if your laptop computer from their peer-to-peer connection, I believe that our network problem that we need a hub (switch), so that the host computer over the Internet as a server and the other as a client in other peer-to-action would peer options are limited

Get a network adapter for the office, they are really cheap - like $ 4.99 (or less)

* * Assuming that there is a modem, and one network interface card (NIC), then the technical answer is yes. You can connect a telephone line (2 pairs received) to 10 Mbit / s Internet use, but it is much easier, a little too standard. Put it over a phone line is a real pain and hard work!

No, you need a router, and it will add a network card in the machine without.
