Last night I had a terrible experience with acid reflux. This is the second time, I think stomach acid and burning throat. I take Prilosec and my stomach is gone for weeks. What can I take immediate measures to reduce the burning in my throat every time you stop producing? I have tried to water, milk, tummy, cookies, but nothing seems to help. My throat feels like someone cleaned with a brush bottle is very crude. I know that stomach acid is no longer in my throat more damage it will do.

Go to Wal-Mart pharmacy and get chewable papaya tablets, vitamin section. Chewing three or four years, when you are in danger ..... works for me!
